2015 Day 8 – Fairy Gold

You offered pay in fairy gold. I knew
That it would lose its lustre come the dawn,
Turn back to leaves, and crumble.
And yet I took the fee.
Did you not know
Your glamour never fooled me?
I was content with riches for the night
And one sweet kiss.

Note: The prompt was to write a poem about money.
